B. Pharmacy

  1. Duration - 2 Years
  2. Eligibility -  Minimum eligibility qualification is 10+2 level of education in science stream, from a recognized educational board, for admission into the Diploma in Pharmacy [D.Pharm.] course in any college. A minimum aggregate score of 35% (Passing marks) at the 10+2 level is also necessary. The cut-off percentage of marks differs as per the University/College.
  3. Overview - The Pharmacy field offers with lots of career opportunities. If you wish to make your carrier in the field of pharmacy you can choose one of the several courses. It may be diploma, degree or PG course. Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) is an undergraduate degree course in the field of Pharmacy. The B.Pharm is one of the popular job oriented course among the science students after class 12th. In this course the students study about the drugs and medicines, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Medicinal Chemistry etc. This course provides a large no. of job opportunities in both the public and private sector.

There are many opportunities for these students interested in taking positions abroad. With your degree, you’ll have a wide range of job possibilities related to the pharmaceutical industry like drugs and medicines, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical engineering, etc.

Pharmacists can work in a variety of departments at pharmaceutical companies such as Marketing, Production and Quality Assurance. After completion of the Bachelor’s degree, interested students can further their studies to become licensed pharmacists by pursuing the Master of Pharmacy program.
